Bluegrass Orthopaedics' Sports Medicine location has 3 physicians and 3 physician assistants specializing in hip, knee, elbow, shoulder, and foot and ankle. This location is conveniently located right off Richmond Road, just outside of Man O' War Blvd. The Sports Medicine Clinic also provides patients with an on-site imaging, a full Physical Therapy Clinic, and the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill.

Be evaluated by our fellowship-trained orthopedic doctors and specialists at our Sports Medicine Clinic at our daily walk-in clinic! The "BGONow" sports medicine walk-in clinic is recommended for athletes of all ages who have sustained an orthopaedic injury within the last 72 hours, and is open:
Monday through Friday from 7:30AM-4:00PM
Saturday Morning from 8:00-10:00AM (*Closed Holiday Weekends)
Be seen by an orthopaedic specialist with fellowship training, and save the emergency room expense!

Dr. Jason Harrod is a fantastic foot doctor! I had a bunionectomy and he told me honestly up front, what to expect. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He listens to what you have need of and gets to the root of the problem. I had a doctor before him for 4 years that just simply didn’t care about what my problem was and could have cared...He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I had a doctor before him for 4 years that just simply didn’t care about what my problem was and could have cared less about me being in pain. Dr Denehy got to the root of the problem and helped me and was very compassionate about my pain and was bothering me and did surgery on me and took care of me. I love him he is a wonderful man and doctor I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been treated by Dr.D’Angelo for my deteriorating knee. I have cadaver ligaments in my right knee. My knee was good as new for a period of five years. I have nothing but 5 stars to say about D’Angelo and staff.I also have spinal stinosis, bulging disc, collapsed disc, pinched nerves. Dr Lockstadt and staff have taken greatcare of my back. Dr Lockstadt has gone to greatlengths to keep me mobile and working. I do not know what Iwould do without their expertise. I had many people warn me not to see them. I do not need a best friend. Ineed someone to fix my bone deterioration. These guy’s have taken care of me with great concern and insight.They do not want to do surgery first thing. Some of the brightest and innovative doctors in Lexington. Thank you Bluegrass Orthopaedics.
