Tracy Keenoy, PT – Tracy has worked at Bluegrass Orthopaedics since 1999. Her education includes a MSPT from the University of St. Augustine in 1996 and a B.S. from the University of Georgia in 1990. Her interests include yoga and pilates.
Bethany Crisp, PTA – I have been working as a physical therapist assistant for BGO since April 2010, and loving every minute of it! I graduated from Marshall Community & Technical College with my Physical Therapist Associate degree in July of 2009, & then completed the one class I need in order to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology- Exercise Science from the University of Kentucky. When I am not working hard, I enjoy being outdoors hiking or biking, working out & taking up my new found interest riding a motorcycle
Michelle Sarrica, PTA – I’m originally from NJ. I graduated from Essex Community College with my Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 1998. I moved to Lexington, KY in 2002. I have 20 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics. I’ve been with Bluegrass Orthopedics since August of 2002. My interests are training CrossFit and running.
Summer Sammons, PTA – I graduated from Marshall’s Community & Technical College in 2009 with my Associates Degree in Applied Science: Physical Therapist Assistant. I started my career as a PTA in a private practice outpatient clinic in West Virginia. I worked with that clinic for 5 years before I came to Kentucky and joined BGO Physical Therapy in May of 2014. I enjoy working in all aspects of outpatient rehab from joint replacements to preparing a patient to return to sports. I’m also a dedicated Marshall University fan, “Go Herd!”
Karen Clark, OT – I have over 25 years of experience as an OT graduating from Queen Margaret University with my Bachelors in 1990. Have been a Certified Hand Therapist for over 17 years & completed my Masters in Health Science from the University of Indianapolis in 2009. I am certified in Active Release Therapy for the UE & in Kinesiotaping. Outside of work enjoy adventure racing, rock climbing & knitting.
Michelle McCallum, PT, DPT, OCS, MDT-Cert – I began my physical therapy career 26 years ago when I graduated from University of Delaware in 1991 with a masters degree in physical therapy. I worked in outpatient orthopaedics in Pennsylvania for 15 years where I also began teaching at Hahneman’s physical therapy assistant program as well as completing my doctorate in physical therapy at Temple University in 2006. I moved to Kentucky in 2006 and continued to practice in outpatient orthopaedics while also completing my orthopaedic certified specialist certificate in 2012 and Mckenzie certification in 2017. I have enjoyed teaching as adjunct faculty at Bellermine University in Louisville as well as University of Kentucky’s physical therapy program. I joined BGO in July of 2017 with a focus on upper quarter muscle and nerve imbalance with ambitions to research and publish new interventions. Outside of work I enjoy running, boating and paddle boarding on the Great Lakes of Michigan with my family, and gardening.
Christy Corrigan, PTA – Christy was born and raised in Lexington, KY and currently lives in Stamping Ground. She attended Midway College and received her Associates Degree in 2001 in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program. After treating a wide variety of diagnoses, Christy found her niche about 12 years ago treating Orthopaedics with a special interest in Mechanical Diagnosis Therapy and she has her Level 1 Certification in STMT. She has been with BGO since May of 2016 when the Georgetown Clinic opened. Christy enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children and spends many an evening at the ball field.
