Patients can go right from the doctor's office to the therapist's office to begin treatment. This service keeps patients from having to set up a separate visit or delayed care. The ease of referral and streamlined care is unparalleled, and it is usually not found in a less specialized practice. For the convenience of our patients, hand therapy is located at our main clinic on Richmond Rd., as well as at our Georgetown, KY office and Richmond, KY office.

Hand therapists are also an essential part of the Bluegrass Orthopaedics' care team. In addition to credentialing by state occupational therapy boards, we have medical professionals at Bluegrass Orthopaedics who are designated as certified hand therapists. This designation is based on experience and special training. All therapists participate in continuing education.

Dr. Favetto is amazing. I walked into his office in pain and walked out pain free. He completely explained my condition and my options so that I could make an informed decision. I chose a steroid shot for my hand and it worked miracles.... Dr. Favetto is amazing. I walked into his office in pain and walked out pain free. He also told me that the length of the pain relief would differ from patient to patient and that would further help me to decide if I wanted to have surgery for the arthritis. I had the carpal tunnel surgery 8-26 on my right hand with 3 finger tendon releases. Everything went smoothly, so about 10 weeks later I had the left hand done, and was happy with the outcome.

I had a severely swollen and painful hand and after my family doctor called he got me in immediately and then also scheduled a followup a few days later. All while booked up and I didn't have more than 15 minutes wait. Excellent service...
