Bluegrass Orthopaedics on Richmond Road has 8 physicians and 6 physician assistants specializing in hip, knee, hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, and foot and ankle. This orthopedic clinic is conveniently located right off Richmond Road, just outside of Man O' War Blvd. On the first floor of this location houses the Bluegrass Specialty Surgery Center. The Richmond Road Clinic also provides patients with an on-site imaging, hand therapy, bone density testing, and EMG testing.
Dr. Hunt is amazing. After living in pain from previous failed back surgeries he was able to take away the majority of my pain. He always had my best interest in mind when deciding on best route of treatment

Dr. Donegan is absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel better about my son’s surgery. Even my son’s physical therapist was bragging on what a great job he did with that type of shoulder surgery due to...Dr. Donegan is absolutely amazing. Dr. Christiansen corrected a previous botched total knee replacement for me. He is very caring and tries to figure out the problem quickly. Dr Balthrop is still helping me with my knee but he’s wonderful! His office is great and he’s so friendly. He really cares about my problem and is helping in every way possible.

That sounds like a simple thing, but I've found it to rare. And he spends time with you based on your needs, not his schedule. The combination of those two things makes you feel like the most important person in the room, and it shows he truly cares. I would recommend him with no reservations whatsoever.

I had total reverse shoulder replacement surgery in Sept. 2016 and have my 6 month post op visit with him this month. He is a Godsend to me. He explains everything in detail, answers every question no matter how silly is seems. Outpatient hip replacement. Everything went like clockwork! Almost no pain at all. The staff was first rate and extremely attentive.
