Bluegrass Orthopaedics could not be more proud to announce our latest Comeback Champion- Mr. Charlie Cox. He is the true definition of a Comeback Champ and we could not be more happy to share his experience. Please ready below as he shares his story and experience:
"This was my first time as a patient of Dr. Denehy. I had a prior right knee and hip replacement by Dr. Balthrop [retired]. My left knee was bone on bone and I was in terrible pain. During my visit, Dr. Denehy informed me I needed a knee replacement.
"I admit I was a little nervous but could not have asked for a better crew to get me ready for my surgery . Mark and Becky and Dr. Denehy were awesome. My healing time and therapy was quick with very little pain.
"I am able to now do little things that most people take for granted. Things like shopping, going out to eat, etc. and enjoying life again!
"I have had lots of surgeries in the past but this one was the smoothest. I have been a part of BGO for a long time and will continue to be their patient when needed. If anyone is on the fence about having knee or hip replacement, I highly recommend to go ahead and get it done - the sooner the better. It is not worth all that pain and I highly recommend BGO and Dr. Denehy. Thank you Dr. Denehy, and all you have done for me. It is not forgotten.
"I love to fish and it has been a long time since I have been able to enjoy it because of my knee problems. I am getting ready to go fishing now and get to enjoy life again, Thanks to Dr. Denehy."
