Bluegrass Orthopaedics' London is an orthopedic clinic open on Wednesdays. Sports medicine specialist Dr. Owen McGonigle, along with Mark Burch, PA-C, serve athletes of all ages at this location. BGO is also the official sports medicine provider for local area high schools in London and Corbin with athletic trainers caring for the high school student-athletes of North and South Laurel as well as Corbin High School.

After reviewing more conservative options, my surgery and recovery went very smoothly. Dr. and staff were always prompt and on time for all office visits.

Dr. Donegan did all tests needed and listened to my concerns and explained everything so that I was able to understand what was going on with me, not in and out in a flash like most do. He is so knowledgeable and personable to boot! I have a history of blood clots and even though I tried to talk him into just taking aspirin after surgery, he insisted on my taking Eliquis. Good thing, because even on that RX, I began to develop a clot in my leg. He responded appropriately and I won’t argue with him again! He was100% right! I highly recommend him!

Saw Dr. Vasicek shortly and was able to explain my concerns, we looked together at the X Rays , found no damage to the knee, on the left leg whose femur I had broken. I have had surgery performed by Dr. Christiansen three times: Partial knee 10 years ago, total in 2014 & total in 2018. He is a caring Christian man and an excellent surgeon. He spends a lot of time with patients preparing for surgery....I have had surgery performed by Dr. Christiansen three times: Partial knee 10 years ago, total in 2014 & total in 2018. I've just had a first visit with Dr. Denehy but was very impressed as he just made me feel very comfortable and was willing to take time with me. At some point in time I'll need new knees so it was important to feel comfortable.
