Bluegrass Orthopaedics' London is an orthopedic clinic open on Wednesdays. Hip and knee specialist Dr. Eric Schafer, as well as physician assistant Michelle Ladanyi, PA-C, serve athletes of all ages at this location. BGO is also the official sports medicine provider for local area high schools with athletic trainers caring for the high school student-athletes at Corbin High School.
He took the time to answer all our questions. He has done several surgeries on my mother and does an excellent job.

After looking at x-rays and learning about my ability to walk well in wide athletic shoes, he recommended that I not have surgery at this time. After looking at x-rays and learning about my ability to walk well in wide athletic shoes, he recommended that I not have surgery at this time. Since I have arthritis in my big toe joint, the recovery time would be 3-4 months. I was surprised but pleased that Dr. Harrod told me that he could fix my bunion problem, but advised me to wait until I was having difficulty walking. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the staff at Bluegrass Orthopaedics, and with Dr. Harrod's professionalism.

Dr. Donegan did right shoulder surgery on me on 7/23/19. I got through surgery just fine and my rehab is going great. Dr. Donegan and his staff are awesome. His assistant, Deana Price started the process with my insurance. After 14 visits and 8 procedures, my hands are fully functional! I was in the exam room at my scheduled times.
