I went to see Dr. Harrod about my bunion on my right foot. After looking at x-rays and learning about my ability to walk well in wide athletic shoes, he recommended that I not have surgery at this time. Since I have arthritis in my big...I went to see Dr. Harrod about my bunion on my right foot. After looking at x-rays and learning about my ability to walk well in wide athletic shoes, he recommended that I not have surgery at this time. Since I have arthritis in my big toe joint, the recovery time would be 3-4 months. I was surprised but pleased that Dr. Harrod told me that he could fix my bunion problem, but advised me to wait until I was having difficulty walking. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the staff at Bluegrass Orthopaedics, and with Dr. Harrod's professionalism.

I was in a very tight time crunch, and Dr. Harrod and his staff were able to help me 4 days before I leave for 3 months. They made sure I got what I needed as soon as possible and were absolutely wonderful the whole time. I am totally pleased with the care & treatment provided by Dr. Christensen and his team during the 15+ years I have been a patient. I had TKR's on both knees in past year & while the recovery was a challenging & painful process, I am 100% pleased with the results. He was always willing to listen to my concerns and questions. His PA's Matt & Evan are the best! And, Dr Christensen referred me to awesome Physical Therapists: Chris for in-home PT & Bethany for outpatient PT at Blue Grass Orthopedics.
