Lacey Curtis, PTA
Physical Therapy Assistant
Lacey Curtis graduated from Georgetown College in 2015 where she majored in Kinesiology - Exercise science. This lead her to go on to earn a Personal Training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2018, which allowed her the opportunity to run BGO's bridge program for over 4 years.
Recently, Lacey graduated from Shawnee State University's PTA program in April 2023 and is now working in a new role as a PTA, with her BGO family, in which she has been apart of since 2017. She also has certifications in Sportsmetrics and Functional Movement Screen (FMS). Sportsmetrics is a 6-week plyometric and strengthening program which was implemented to help reduce the percentage of ACL tears and/or re-tears. FMS was designed to take patients through a series of every day functional movements to help determine where their true limitations are coming from.
Outside of work, you can catch her at Burn Boot Camp gym, hanging out with her wonderful husband Wesley and two sweet boys Brooks and Parker, or going to UK football games… Go Cats!!!
